About Akron SCORE

Our Mission

The mission of SCORE Akron is to stimulate the economies of Medina, Portage, Summit, and Wayne Counties by using the business knowledge and skills of our volunteers to guide and lead small business entrepreneurs and existing businesses toward their goals.

SCORE Akron's cadre of experienced counselors covers virtually every key business discipline, including production, sales, marketing, advertising, human resources, public relations, management, finance, engineering, and inventory control.

We collaborate with many organizations in our four-county service area, including:

The SCORE office in downtown Akron operates on a Monday through Thursday schedule, 9:00am-1:30pm. Counseling is conducted at our office or at a time and location convenient to the client and our counselor.Our free workshops are held at various venues in our four-county area.
